The intense driver rivalry between USA’s Salt Lake city star Kreg Christensen and Sunshine cost Driver Clive Featherby is set to thrill the crowd after the heated battle between the two at the last show in Lismore when Christensen Felt he was robbed by the crowd scoring system and negative comments made on the PA by Featherby afterwards. Hobart Show a Huge Success
Wed, 21/04/2010 - 12:48pmKreg Christensen won the racing driving scooby from Clive Fetherby driving the local favourite Taz. Kreg beat Barry Gaunt driving Raptors Rampage in the earlier heat and Clive/Taz beat David Brown USA driving Samson to reach the final.
In Freestyle Barry/Raptors kicked off with a average run to complete his 80 second journey Barry scored a 6.6.
Out next was David Brown driving Samson David put in a solid performance to score a 8.5....
Out next Clive/Taz hit every object and a nice doughnut to score a 9.1.
With just Kreg to go in scooby he came out all guns blazing then, half way through, it looked like disaster had struck, Scooby cut out twice. That was like waving a red flag in front of a raging bull to the wild man from Utah and timed perfectly to the end of the run, Scooby was on the roof with a roll over, somewhat assisted by the ailing motor, but also helped kreg score a 9.9 to take outright victory.
Now its on to Launceston the northern city of the Apple isle, which will also be Davids last show before he heads home to Alabama the following week after having spent the last six weeks down under.
