Mon, 14/06/2010 - 8:02am

Australia’s first monster truck built purely for roll over’s gimmick acts and back flip activities built by Kreg Christensen did some minor testing on his behalf today and was given a name finally.

The truck will have a sort of a body which will be installed over the next week. It will have some similarities to the Backwards Bob type truck, but certainly not the identical type of performance, it will also be armed with t Shirt Launchers, 12 Multiple Pyro Cues a coloured smoke canister and flame effects.

It will have a dome roof to encourage it to spin when it rolls it will run front and rear lockers for intense cyclones.

It is running a special Australia made suspension system that also includes Nitrogen Bump stops the truck will be painted in all Fluoro colours and will be aimed at the 5 to ten year old market in this country it will even have a miniature version that leads it out and rolls over.

The truck will be called FREAK SHOW...

Today under Kreg’s direction Alabama driver now a regular to Australia David Brown made the very first official test runs in the truck at the Extreme Monster Trucks testing facility and David gave the truck the thumbs up.

The shocks and bump stops have been taken off for more minor adjustment but will be back on for more testing tomorrow before it heads to Lindsay Houston to be dressed up with a body and lots of colour.

Kreg Christensen will attempt Australia’s First ever Back flip at Townsville Showgrounds on Saturday July 10 then again the following weekend at Rockhampton showgrounds on July 17.

Clive will then have his first attempt at Lismore showgrounds on July 24 before heading off to the states the following day to start driving his new Dan Patrick truck over there.
